MC-1 is our multi media MASTER MOTION
CONTROLLER with integral Timecode Reader/Generator and ELECTRONIC
GEARBOX and can be referenced to XTAL, VIDEO, EXTernal LINE or
TTL Frame Rate.
Housed in a 2U case, in order to accommodate its multiple
machine outputs, it provides the necessary reference signals to
Lock and Resolve compatible FILM, VIDEO, AUDIO and HARD DISC
devices. Longitudinal Timecode can be generated at any EBU/NTSC
standard with simultaneous outputs of four separate Bi-Phase
signals at different rates. Pulse outputs are also generated for
referenced transfer applications.
MC-1 also provides our applications specific TAPELESS MODE for
Instant Timecode Locates when working with a Hard Disc
system.
MC-1 and its associated machines may also be Slaved/Locked to
an external Master reference by our MCO-1 LOCK TO BI-PHASE or
MCO-2 LOCK TO TIMECODE options. The integral SONY PROTOCOL RS422
9 PIN Input also allows MC-1 to be controlled from a compatible
external source, e.g. a Hard Disc System, whilst addition of our
optional MCO-3 SONY RS422 9 PIN Output, allows MC-1 to control
and slave any compatible video machine. Combined Word Clock /
Video Sync outputs, will also be available as option MCO-4
MC-1 has front panel controls for standard looping operations
and a parallel I/O connector provides Remote Control Interface to
the Forward & Reverse Play, Stop, Wind, Cue 1 & 2,
Locate, Cycle, Return To Zero, Jog and Crawl Commands and
Tallies.
