Our FILMCODER/INSERTER uses our integral PAL/NTSC video inserter to provide up to four separate insertions, selectable from 7 sizes and 4 styles and derived from the generated Timecode/User Bits and Film Time/Footage conversions.

If Bi-Phase to VITC conversion is required our optional FCO-2 Multi Standard VITC Generator is also available for FC-2.

Applications for FilmCoder include: TELECINE work (start Timecode from top of hour); Generating Master Timecode from a Film Machine for a Chase Synchroniser or Hard Disc System to follow and lock too or for Shot List Logging/EDL Generation; Locking ATRs and VTRs to a Film Machine Master; Insertion and Distribution of Programme Time/Film Footage information during a Post Session via Video Monitors.

Our optional FCO-3 Key Code Reader also allows Key Code information to be used for EDL Generation and or insertion into picture/Generator Timecode User Bits.
